Theme parks social is a theme park directory that matches theme park fans, students and families with other theme park fans. You select the criteria and find your matches.

This is a website for theme park enthusiasts, students and families who would like to find people to attend parks with, whether it be you as a mother or father looking for an escape or maybe you are looking for another family to meet up with where both parents and children have other people to explore rides with. This is also for students to come and find friends to attend parks with as there will sometimes be discounts and offers for people to redeem.

This website gives you full control over who you meet with safety precautions in place. You sign up, select your criteria from the drop-down menus, fill out your bio and get searching, it is as easy as that.

The Team says…

As previous students we loved theme parks but was lacking in people to go with, the fact that there are so many parks to visit made it feel even worse. Going solo isn't the same as having somebody else there with you to experience the fun. A lot more students are attending theme parks now as the industry is growing and Universal Studios UK is set to open in 2031 which will be huge for the theme park community. 

There are many families that attend theme parks with their children; however, the parents rarely get a chance to explore the thrill rides or must take it in turns as one parent has to watch the children. This was an issue that we heard quite a lot of parents share so we have come up with a solution to makes things more enjoyable for children and parents. This website offers families to pair up with other families that also enjoy attending theme parks. This way adults get to go on the bigger rides whilst the other parents watch the children. All you have to do is sign up, select your criteria, write your bio and get searching.

Theme Parks.Social has been formed due to our love of theme parks as enthusiasts but lack of friends to attend with. It had some of us either relying on meeting up with large groups or not attending as often as we would have liked to. Group dynamics with people can come with issues such as cliques, personality clashes, not being able to choose what rides you want to go on and not being able to choose when you want to go for lunch etc. Also, if you are shy or anxious you may not feel comfortable attending large groups. This website puts you in full control of who you meet up with, whether it be a one-to-one meet or creating your own groups with people who you want to meet with. You can meet different friends on different days for different parks as you have full control over who you choose to meet up with, and a wider variety of choice. Nobody but the people you match with will know who you are meeting up with and where, so more added privacy. Having done extensive research in the theme park community we all seem to be in the same situation that leaves us feeling very limited. So, whether you are already a part of the theme park community or new to theme parks this is the place for you.

Each user's safety is paramount, you will create a profile; it is advised to use a profile picture of yourself so that people can see what you look like. On signing up you will fill out a bio letting other users know as much information about you, so they can decide if they wish to add you as a friend. Once added as a friend you can message until you feel comfortable meeting up, creating meets on a one-to-one basis or a group. The reason for friend requesting before messaging is to protect every user from being bombarded with messages from random people. You as a user have the option to delete and block another user who you are friends with at any point if you were to feel the need. 

This website is not only limited to finding friends to attend UK theme parks with but European theme parks and worldwide theme parks too.
